Love is in the air! Valentine’s Day is almost here and for a lot of our tenants, that means it’s time to decide what they should do with their significant other to celebrate. Thankfully, our apartments in Fort Collins are within just a short drive of everything you need to celebrate the perfect Valentine’s Day.
Go Out For A Fancy Meal
Fort Collins has its fair share of nice places to eat. But this Valentine’s Day, you can kick it up a notch by going somewhere extraordinary that you might not usually go for a typical date night. Check out a few fine dining establishments below.
Located in Old Town Fort Collins, Rodizio Grill is a Brazilian steakhouse that offers a completely unique dining experience. At Rodizio, waiters visit your table with rotisserie-grilled meat and carve off hot servings right at your table.
Sonny Lubick Steakhouse
Named after famed CSU Rams football coach, Sonny Lubick, the Sonny Lubick Steakhouse is located below street level in Old Town and features some of the best steak you can find in town. While the food is fantastic, what really draws people to this establishment is the welcoming and warm ambiance.
Simmer is a newer establishment and the perfect place to go if you don’t want to deal with finding a parking space in Old Town. Located near the Drake and Shields intersection, Simmer is just a few minutes from our apartments in Fort Collins and has plenty of parking. They also specialize in small plates so you can try a little bit of everything.
Take An Art Class
Fort Collins has a few painting classes where you follow along with an instructor and have the option of enjoying a few adult beverages while you’re at it. If you opt for Pinot’s Palette in Old Town, it’s just around the corner from some of the restaurants mentioned above!
Learn How To Cook
As a bit of a foodie capital, it’s no surprise that Fort Collins has plenty of places that offer upscale cooking lessons. A few places to look into for a cooking class include Ginger and Baker and The Cooking Studio. For a more affordable option, you’ll be pleased to know that Whole Foods also offers cooking classes.
Listen To Some Live Music
You can throw a stone in Old Town and hit an establishment offering live music (though we don’t recommend this). For a romantic endeavor, head to Ace Gillett’s, a speakeasy-style bar located beneath the Armstrong Hotel in Old Town that will have you feeling like you’ve been transported back in time to the 1920s as you listen to live jazz.
Enjoy Wine and Cheese
The Welsh Rabbit in Old Town is the perfect place to enjoy fine cheese, meat, and wine charcuterie style. Because our apartments in Fort Collins are so conveniently located, hitting all of these spots in Old Town is definitely achievable!
Stay In At Your Apartment In Fort Collins
